The PTA would like to send a special thank you to the coordinators of Breakfast with Santa Traci Pellecchia, and Danie Dotsey-Ramirez - it was a successful day and everyone that attended had a great time. This is one of the favorite events for students and family each year and would not be possible without the help of volunteers.
We would also like to thank Danielle Calanda, Wendy Nolan and Jenna Schultz for a successful Holiday Shop. These Shops are an enormous undertaking and would not be so successful but for the Coordinators and Parent Volunteers who give countless hours setting-up, helping the students shop during the class periods and then breaking down the Shops at the end.
The PVS Book Fair - January 30, 2017 to February 6, 2017
The Book Fair is a reading event that provides students with the opportunity to browse all of the Titles and choose the books they want to read; thus, building literacy confidence—the ability to read, write, and speak about what they know, how they feel, and who they are. Nine out of ten kids are more likely to finish a book they choose for themselves. The Book Fair will provide them with a selection of new and favorite authors, popular series, cool posters and school supplies.
